Last Saturday, 24 October, BPS once again visited the beautiful facilities of Sunrise Stables for the final IBOP and inspection day of 2026.
The judges Barend Damste, Ilona Tuyn and Arie van Heeswijk assessed five mares for registration or an upgrade in grading. No foals were presented.
All mares present were awarded a second premium. Overall, the horses were of satisfactory quality, with some standing out for their breed type and others for their movement. However, the horses could benefit from more muscular development and greater correctness in their limbs.
The mare presented for a grading upgrade, Saga Fan Stald Barok, improved from a third premium to a fine second premium Ster classification, scoring 41 points.
Following the conformation inspections, three horses were presented for the ridden IBOP test.
All horses were presented well, resulting in three successful tests. Ivy achieved the highest score of 68 points. She stood out for her lovely, consistent contact and her balance in both trot and canter.
Kenza R followed with 64.5 points, while Saga Fan Stald Barok achieved a score of 62 points.
Here you will find the total results.
