Last weekend, two inspections took place in the Czech Republic.
Gabriela Mikutová, who has been chairwoman in the Czech Republic since the very beginning, once again had everything well organized. Inspector Geertje van de Veen was, together with chairwoman and aspiring judge Gorrit Kuipers, present for the third time in a row.
The first inspection took place in the eastern part of the country, where the breed-typical and strongly developed foal Pegas Rychlebsky was named Day Champion, ahead of the elegant Perseida JC. Best of FB went to Perseus van Rajec, and Nirvana van Hirou was awarded Best of XX.
The stallions Michelangelo Joe Bern and Jersey van Silesia were both registered as Star Stallions. Michelangelo is a breed-typical and youthful stallion with a very active and rhythmic walk and was awarded Star with 42 points. The stallion Jersey van Silesia received Star with 43 points. His walk was also excellent and received an 8. He is a classical, long-lined stallion with a good temperament.
The following day, an inspection was held south of Prague, where the strong and best-moving foal Pretoria La Kosta was named Day Champion, with Neville van Pawlowitz as Reserve Champion. The beautiful yearling Odyssea MH was rightly named Best of FB for her excellent basic gaits, and the approved stallion Farbenprinz received, in addition to his Approved Stallion ribbon, the Best of XX sash.
This youthful, interestingly bred, and generously built stallion moves with great suppleness and technique. Expectations are that this breed-typical stallion will develop well into a modern stallion with three very functional basic gaits. The mare Hetty van de Gela was also presented in an IBOP under saddle, which she completed with good results. It was a good weekend with an everage group of horses and a few real special onces.
Here are the results in random order. Photos will follow.
